Wow, that really gives me hope :) I've been so scared that my GPA was too low. I think mine still is though. My overall is 2.8 GPA and my last 60-unit is 3.2. Do you remember if they only look at last 60-unit GPA? I submitted my application like 2 weeks ago. They will reiview it on the 23rd so I guess I'll find out the first week of March. I'm beyond nervous! Lol I also get decisions from two other schools the same month XD
Yes , I was really scared too. So far I have gotten in to 3 of the 4 schools I applied to. I just submitted my deposit for Creighton so I have officially committed to them!! Have you heard back from any other schools? and what is your first bachelor's degree in? I do not remember if they look at last 60, but my advisor said that they do look at your application holistically. If you have good recommendations and personal statement I think it will help a lot!!!! and did you explain the reason for your gpa in your personal statement? I explained everything in mine and used my last 60 to emphasize how much I have grown as a person
That's amazing! Congrats. Which other three schools did you get into? I'm in California too (NorCal). I've I got denied from two schools and accepted into one in Indianapolis - however, that one isn't super reliable because I still have to compete for Clinicals! They don't have enough space so it's really stressful. My first bachelors degree is in Sociology and yes I explained my grades in great detail but I'm nervous that I may have gotten a bit too personal in my personal statement but I did reiterate how I went from flunking classes to taking 20-27 units a semester and doing great in them for the past two years. I really hope they give me a chance. This program is so perfect.
Thanks! The other two are George Washington and Loyola. Oh awesome!! I'm from Los Angeles area haha congratulations on your acceptance!! I understand about the stress but on the bright side at least you can breathe knowing you have at least one school. I was so scared I was not going to get in to any. Well i'm sure they appreciate the honesty it helps them get to know you as a person and not just stats. If you put emphasis on your heavy work load and improvement I'm sure it will help!! I think thats probably what happened to me because I had a few things I needed to explain. I do not know about a price difference, I thought they were all the same. So were you able to rank online or did you just put in one preference choice? I do not remember if it said preference or not. I just had one school slot and put in Omaha. I really hope you get in to Creighton!!

Hey everyone! I am applying for the Fall 2018 ABSN program at Creighton. I don't have a preference when it comes to which city I go to.
Has anyone been accepted already? I've seen multiple people who got accepted already as early as last month so they clearly review applications fast.
