credit reporting agency

Hi I am looking for a credit monitoring service. I need one that is reputable, lets me look at my credit and credit score montly, fo reasons of bettering my credit. Any reccomendations?

Equifax is good.

Keep in mind that no matter which agency you choose, there will be other agencies that will not list all of the reports on your choice's list. Each company is different and do not get all reports from all companies. In other words, if Equifax says you are up to date on your department store charge card payments, one of the others may say that you are behind on your payments to, say, a gas company.

www.freecreditreport.com will monitor for you and it has three different credit agencies. The fee is not that much. And you can get a free trial before you have to sign up for the monthly monitoring.
