I wonder if anyone has ever used the Credentials Evaluation Service (CES) in evaluating RMN qualifications for the US.
This appears to be part of the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools website. There is quite a fee for this service so I'm wondering if anyone knows if its worth it?

In a word, no. You would be wasting your money, unfortunately RMN is not recognised in the US. Sorry, this won't be what you want to hear but the US requires that all nurses have a minimum number of hours theory and practice in Med/Surg, Paediatrics, Obstetrics, and Mental Health. I don't know exactly what the number of hours is, think I read somewhere that it's 40 of theory and 40 of practice in these four areas. It sucks, I know, sorry
On a more positive note, you can make up the hours via an accredited route, I'm sure some nurses have done that. Hopefully someone might respond and give you more info about that.

I would agree with Tina. Unfortunately RMN isn't recognised in the US. There have been a few threads were students have not met the requirement in hours and making the hours up. I am not aware of any universities in the UK which provide this service

I agree with the above. You will need to make up hours in the other two areas. No way around that, I am sorry to say.
