CPR Renewal? Lapsed card.

Can anyone tell me- if my AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers certification has already lapsed, can I take a renewal course or do I need to take the entire cert. course again?

From my understanding you have to take the whole course again. But you can call and find out for sure.

You need to take the course again, renewal is only good for those with an unexpired card. The extra practice time doesn't hurt anyway. I always take a full course instead of the renewal one for just that reason.

Yep, you have to retake the entire course. Happened to me once.....and only once. Sorry.
