Are test takers given CPR (performance report for nclex) if/when passing the exam??? 9 Is It just for those who failed?
If it is given to those who passed, did it show "above passing" on all categories? ?
I'm just so very curious to know how this works....must we score above passing on all categories to pass the NCLEX or can we score near pass on a few....?
Thank you in advance! !!!!!

The CPR is there to show the candidate where s/he went wrong so preparation can be made for another attempt. There is nothing to show someone who has passed.
You cannot be below passing in any category; if you are not at or above the passing standard in all categories, you cannot pass the exam. Think of it this way: the NCLEX indicates only a minimum competency to begin practice. How can someone become licensed as a nurse without having a minimum competency? The CPR will give the breakdown of each category that needs correction prior to another test.

Passed = above passing in all categories. At or near or below passing in any one or more category = fail. Failures get the CPR to determine their weakest areas to prepare for retest. Passers are eligible for a nursing license
