Hello Everyone,
it is that time again where we gather together to render support and guidance with our licensing exam. Has anyone found out when we will get our results?

Yes, it’s around 600. Difficult? I guess it’s the same exam in the US for LPN/LVN. The review materials would probably be Mark Klimek Audios and UWorld-PN which are really excellent materials.

I heard it will be harder as well. it's an adaptive test so when the computer/test software recognizes your weak areas it will test you more on those.
Personally I was an average student in nursing school but found the cprne fairly easy. I think a lot of people fail due to language barriers, not so much that they don't get the content.

Language barrier? I don’t think so. People usually fails because they overanalyzed the question.

I live in a city with a lot of nurses/nursing students who speak english as a second language. this is just going by what they have told me. I think NCLEX you can write in your native language.

true and lack of test taking strategies. I barely knew anything when I took cpnre and still passed

You cannot give your opinion because you just “think.” Get your facts straight. FYI, NCLEX and REX-PN, aka NCLEX-PN, are both administered by NCSBN, which is from the US, meaning it’s in the English language, but since Canada is adapting it, it will be offered in English or French ONLY.

That was mildly aggressive and probably could have been said in a nicer tone. You’d think as nurses we would know how to speak to one another in a nicer manner.

All we posted here are our “own opinion”, we might be wrong or right, but main point is SHARING our thoughts and perspectives. We certainly can give our opinion and use “ I think”. If you gathered FACTS you can address the concern, you can also address it nicely. Some of us here are novice nurses, who are still in the process of getting a hold of wverything. So yes some pf their knowledge are based on what they hear and “think”.

Oh my apologies, I just felt insulted with that language barrier reasoning.
