Hi AllNurses . I will be writing the CPNRE on January 2011. My study materials are:
-Mosby's Canadian Comprehensive Review of Nursing 2nd Edition and
-The Canadian PN Exam Prep Guide 3rd Edition.
To all test takers for January 2011 (hoping that I am not the only one here), please join and we'll support each other to stay on track and keep on going. To all other members who passed the exam or knowledgeable about the CPNRE, please give some inputs. Badly needed. Thank you.
A prayer to all of us, "Lord God, our Saviour, we are asking for your guidance for the upcoming CPNRE. Help us to comprehend what we are studying and give us wisdom to pass the exam. Please Lord. In Jesus Name, Amen".
Will always keep you posted :)
Well funny enough... i got my temp license today!!!Bittersweet cuz what if i fail my exam.. my temp license is gone! But my employer said they'd start orientating me starting Tuesday. Dear god i better not fail.. again good luck everyone!
where are u from if you dont mind me asking? Lol ...and the reason why I'm asking is I thought that eastern provinces are supposed to get their results first .. then us BC residents.
Going to jump in here - I wrote with the lot of you and am in BC.
Would they have removed unsuccessful candidates by now on public LPN registries like CLPNBC's? (http://www.clpnbc.org/lpn_list.php)
You'd assume that they would since that would be "protecting the public".
What do you all think?
Thanks!

yah that's what I was thinking too! but they only update the website every Sunday.. so assuming it hasn't been updated yet. Have you tried searching through the registry? Oh and the weird thing is.. I received a newsletter from the college..

The provinces with the fewest candiates generally get their results out soonest due to the reduced workload involved. So typically the Maritimes and Saskatchewan are earliest, then Manitoba, Alberta, BC and Ontario is usually last.

That's up to the individual colleges, and their respective workloads as well. Do they list people as registered BEFORE they've written the exam? I wouldn't think so.
Let's call a spade a spade...I am pretty sure that they have known results for about two weeks now...they are just chatting and thinking about the experimental questions and which ones to throw out when taking into account results.
I think that if you're still on your public registry, that it's looking pretty darn good!
Cheers!

Ohh.. Okay, that's good to know, thanks. But they are marked in Ontario though, right?
