Hi AllNurses . I will be writing the CPNRE on January 2011. My study materials are:
-Mosby's Canadian Comprehensive Review of Nursing 2nd Edition and
-The Canadian PN Exam Prep Guide 3rd Edition.
To all test takers for January 2011 (hoping that I am not the only one here), please join and we'll support each other to stay on track and keep on going. To all other members who passed the exam or knowledgeable about the CPNRE, please give some inputs. Badly needed. Thank you.
A prayer to all of us, "Lord God, our Saviour, we are asking for your guidance for the upcoming CPNRE. Help us to comprehend what we are studying and give us wisdom to pass the exam. Please Lord. In Jesus Name, Amen".
Will always keep you posted :)
The wayyy more questions are because some are like tester questions they don't count. Now the wait begins again to actually have a licence to work!! Anyone hear from CNO yet?
Not yet. But it's only been like, 7 days for me since I sent it in. They said to allow 15. I'm worried though, as I'm starting orientation for my new job on Monday! The first week is classroom, but the week after, I'm worried my license won't be through yet.
They KNOW I'm a new grad, though...
Ugh. I Fed-ex'd my documents and application in to the CNO to be sure it got there. I called yesterday to make sure they had my stuff, and they said they had nothing! I told them Fed-Ex showed that it was delivered over a week ago, and the lady took my tracking number and said she'd look into it. She said sometimes mail just gets mixed up, but she was confident they'd find my package and thus all my documents.
At least they go by the day it was delivered for the 15 business day thing...so since Fed-Ex's info online shows it was delivered over a week ago, they will go by that day. So with any luck, I'll have my registration number by the end of this week, or early next week. I hope it's the former, as I start my new job on Monday. Thankfully, it's orientation in the classroom first, so there's time before I truly NEED my number.
Anyhow, the point of my tired, rambly post was that if might not be a bad idea to make sure the CNO received your documents if you sent them a while ago and still don't have your number!
