Published

Hi AllNurses :nurse:. I will be writing the CPNRE on January 2011. My study materials are:

-Mosby's Canadian Comprehensive Review of Nursing 2nd Edition and

-The Canadian PN Exam Prep Guide 3rd Edition.

To all test takers for January 2011 (hoping that I am not the only one here), please join and we'll support each other to stay on track and keep on going. To all other members who passed the exam or knowledgeable about the CPNRE, please give some inputs. Badly needed. Thank you.

A prayer to all of us, "Lord God, our Saviour, we are asking for your guidance for the upcoming CPNRE. Help us to comprehend what we are studying and give us wisdom to pass the exam. Please Lord. In Jesus Name, Amen".

Will always keep you posted :)

Where are you from, if you don't mind me asking ?

Hi everyone. I just got the mail from CNO and I PASSED!!! I received a small envelope with just 1 sheet. I couldn't explain the feeling but I am very happy & feeling relieved. God is Good. I Love You God. You're the best! I would like to CONGRATULATE everybody who passed as well. :yeah: We're :nurse: now. Still thinking where to celebrate :)

I totally agree god is good!!!!!! keep praying and he will see you through. For those who have not received there mail yet don't worry your license is coming.

hi cherrystyles,

i live in vaughan. lil north from toronto.... :)

For those of you that are already nurses or that have recently passed the exam: my letter says that I need to get an "original criminal record synopsis from CPIC". Is that just a regular police check or something different. And if it is different, how do I go about getting one?

That is just a regular police check, you can just go to the police station for that.

CPIC is the Canadian Police Information Centre. This link will take you to a list of member police forces across the country: http://www.cpic-cipc.ca/pdfs/CPICPVCIPC.pdf Pick the one closest to you and go there. Bring money.

I don't think it has to do with where you live or how far it is from the CNO because I know other ppl in Mississauga that didn't get theirs yet.

I think it is mailed out alphabetically
