CPNE next week !!!!

Nursing Students Excelsior

Well my time is finally here. I test next weekend in Georgia (Northside). Very hopeful but still scared. I have taken an in person workshop, online workshop, read the study guide, read another study guide, practiced labs, memorized mnemonics and last night had my first CPNE nightmare so now its all real.

Leaving early next week and have a mock scheduled on Thursday. Any last minute advise with only a week to go?

Best of Luck!! Can't wait to hear how it went! I test July 27-29 in Albany, and am SCARED out of my mind!

Specializes in Cardiac.

Good luck to you too! I've moved from scared and nervous to NAUSEATED constantly for 2 days, I can only assume it will get worse. Going to be a long week.

Nervous1... don't be nervous! You will do fine! Look at what you have completed so far, and so quickly... you obviously KNOW YOUR STUFF!!!! Try to relax, take some deep breaths, continue reviewing all week... and go in there and do it!! Can't wait to read your notes/journal from the weekend!

On a side note... HOW did you complete Eng101 in a week?! I am doing the Straighterline, like you did... I'll finish it within the 2nd month, but it is very tedious... not hard, but just a lot to do. I finished most of the quizzes, and now am working on submitting all the essays.

I sat down on a Saturday and did all of the essays in one day and did the same thing for English 102 (watched the old Frankenstein movie and used cliff notes for those essays). I had already done the quizzes earlier in the week and saved the writing assignments till the end. Very tedious and a pain but I got better grades on the essays than I did the quizzes.
