CPNE locations

Nursing Students Online Learning

Published

I was just wondering.... I have read that some locations are tough on passing students, and some are not as difficult! has anyone heard one way or the other, which locations are strict, or more forgiving? I would like to know. I recently registered with excelsior. I am only studing for test number one. I would just like to be informed!

Thanks

It has everything to do with the student's preparation and much less to do with the test site. :) Best of luck to you!

I dunno. I tested twice at the same site, and I have to say that the CA sets the tone for the CE's, and my second was much more relaxed than the first. And that wasn't just my perception.

I don't have 1st hand experience yet (but hope to soon) and I think it's like everything else.. just pray you get someone with a great soothing personality and not someone who had a bad night or hates working... I've been searching board for a while now and it seems one weekend only 2 will pass at one place and the next week, almost all pass. I'm just taking my CPNE in a smaller hospital so I'm not too overwhelmed.

Yes, but those variables are something you can neither control nor predict. It's best to control what is within your area of influence, and that's your preparation and study. That was my approach to the whole enchilada, anyway. :)

Oh, no question, Lunah. But that doesn't mean that things are completely objective always. They can't be, given that we're humans.

However. I'm through it, and, unlike some folks, blame no one but myself for needing to take it again. But I sincerely think that had I had this CA the first time there wouldn't have been a second.

Which smaller hospital are you taking it at. I think I would do better at a smaller one, but who knows. Traci:eek:
