Good day everyone: Any thoughts on taking https://www.coursera.org/course/vitalsigns before starting clinicals in terms of getting a good start? Thank you.
Thank you! Just signed up for it, great resource to prepare ahead of school.
Good day everyone:
I'm glad to read that it looks like a good (free) course to take prior to clinicals. I'm also looking at taking https://www.coursera.org/course/clinicalpsych later in the summer in case it might help with pediatrics. While I've not used the apps yet, Coursera has an ipad/iphone app called "CoursePad" and a Google App (whose name I don't have handy).
Thank you.
Good day:
BTW, https://www.coursera.org/course/healthcaresafety starts on June 2nd. It appears to be another interesting class to get ready for clinicals. For those already a nurse, there's a CE option.
Thank you.
Thanks for posting this. I signed up for the vital signs one and for a neurobiology class. Physiology fascinates me and I am excited to do it. Plus I am only taking one class this summer (my final prereq) and then am hopefully starting in the fall. I have to wait another month for my acceptance letter.
