Hi,
I am an RN with 2 years experience working in Vancouver, BC. I am considering taking a 6 month program that specializes in medical aesthetics, so I can potentially make more money on the side.
Can anyone give me advice cosmetic nursing? I am having trouble finding information on wage/commission, plus the amount of work available. Is this a good path to take?
Thanks!

Interesting. With the huge upsurge in the number of 'medi-spas' in my part of the country, it would seem that this is definitely a growth industry. However, in the US, nursing scopes of licensure are regulated at the state level, so although a nurse in one state may be permitted to inject botox and fillers in one state, it would be prohibited in another one. Is there a single scope of license for Canada? How nice.

I actually have not heard of this. Interesting! I'll be curious to see the responses.
I think they vary across Provinces, though only slightly.
