COS Visalia Fall 2021 applicants

Hello, I didn’t see a forum for College of the sequoias applicant Pool for fall 2021. I wanted to start this one and see if we can keep each other sane during the waiting period. Good luck to everybody applying! 

I know last year when I got denied that I received a letter in the mail before someone that I knew who got accepted. But they’re going to send out responses late this year that I feel like we’ll all find out at the same time if we got in or not

Okay gotcha, yeah when I applied last time I got denied and I felt like I got a response fast but I wasn’t sure when I was supposed to find out. Fingers crossed for you this time!

I’ve read in past forums that if you get accepted you receive a Manila envelope/package like the one we sent our application in. I’m guessing if we are denied it will be a regular size letter envelope? Don’t quote me on it, I’m not 100% sure. It is my first time applying, it’s just from what I’ve read in the past.

Hopefully they get back to you! I know they’re on Spring break next week but staff should still be on campus until Wednesday so hopefully we do get an answer by April 1st.

I applied to FCC, was eligible but not selected in their lottery in Oct. I applied for West Hills as well, awaiting notification from them too.

I just spoke with COS they are mailing the responses on Wednesday for sure.
