#2. Mary Jones, BSN, OCN, RN
#3. Some other way not listed above ?????
Thanks

According to APA, it is degree first, professional title next, then certifications.

How about just:
June Carter BSN
Or stretch it and put:
June Carter RN BSN
All these damn initials just confuse the hell out of the general public. It even confuses fellow nurses.
The best I have seen so far...
Johnny Cash RN BSN ACLS:bowingpur (with a whole bunch of other consonants and vowels strung together)
Come on man, the American Heart Association passes out ACLS certifications just for showing up to the class. Is it really necessary to put that on your badge?
Oh yeah, what does OCN stand for anyway?

I've always thought the primary job title/certification went first to prevent confusion:
John Doe RN BSN CCRN
Jane Doe RN ARNP FNP
I have to agree RedCell, some people overuse credentials, ACLS being one of the prime examples, jmho

:twocents:I agree that adding ACLS after your name is going overboard, but I am in favor of listing your degree as well as RN. And while we are at it, make that RN in big, bold letters. In office and hospital settings, patients call anyone in scrubs "nurse". Lets let them know that nurses are college educated professionals. Respect us! (and pay us too).
