Cook Children's Feburary 2016 Cohort

Published

Hi Everyone!

I am super excited to be interviewing for the 2016 February Cohort and wanted to know if there was anyone out there just as nervous/excited! I read all the different posts from previous cohorts and found it funny that there were not any posts for our cohort yet! I use this site all the time and just never registered, but here I am now :)

Overall I have learned that the interview is pretty challenging, at least it will be or me D-: I have never had a panel interview for a job before! Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!!

I applied to the med-surg track also. I've heard with the last couple cohorts they've called to give offers over two days so I wouldn't worry yet! My last name starts with an L

Thanks Kelsey trying to keep my cool! :) I am not usually such a mess!!

Brianda, I can't reply to your message because I don't have 15 posts yet, but I've added you to keep in touch! :)

I'm late to the post I guess lol, but I interviewed on Friday and am still waiting to hear back! A friend of mine got her call today as well, and her last name starts with an N. Mine starts with an S, so I'm hoping they are going in alphabetical order. I interviewed for the critical care track, so I'm glad to see they are accepting 16! Congrats to everyone who has accepted positions! :)

Hey everyone!

I just found this page. I got "The Call" yesterday and accepted! I will be in the critical care track. I still have 3 friends who are waiting for their calls for critical care. We really should create a fb page so we can start to get to know each other better between now and february! Congrats to everyone who got an offer, and those who are still waiting- hang in there!

My last name starts with N. My friends who are waiting have last names that start with W, B, and S

Last cohort and the cohort before they made all the calls on one day. It might be different with the tracks though.

That is what I am afraid of :( My last name starts with a W so I am trying to not mourn just yet.

Someone posted earlier about how many spots there are. I wonder how many applied and how many got interviews for each track?

The nurse resident who gave me my tour told me that they interviewed 90 people. I'm not sure how many people applied though, however on the phone and during my interview they mentioned a couple of times how competitive the program and how much of a hard decision it was.

Well lol I feel like I'm just gonna go ahead and assume I didn't get it. But congratulations to all of y'all who did!! :)

:nailbiting: That is how I am feeling too RAndaROO!

Does anyone know of phone calls being made today? Or emails saying no?
