Continuing Education Units(CEU's)

Published

Hi everyone....hope all is going well for you. My question is this: does anyone have a reputable website that they use for CEU's. There is so much out there and it is causing me anxiety and confusion. I found one website where you take as many credits for $29.95 which sounds too good to be true. Please help!!:)

This is the one that I use the most often: http://www.NetCE.com Another one that I have used is: http://www.WesternSchools.com , but their courses tend to cost more because they send you study materials.

Specializes in LTC/hospital, home health (VNA).

medscape has free ones but each are only 0.5-1.0 routinely..so you have to do lots of them to meet your BONs requirements. they have a ceu tracker as well so you can print out that for your records.

RN.com and Nurse.com both have free ones

In oncology, advocacy orgs like the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society offer lots of free CEUs for nurses -- the ones I have done are often a podcast of a talk, conference, etc., which makes it extra convenient, I just listen during my commute, fill out the eval online, and presto. They usually are 1-2 CEUs. ONS also has *some* free courses available via their web site, and every issue of the their journal has articles that you can get credit (usually 0.5-1.5) for reading by answering a few questions online.

Whatever your speciality, I would think there'd be similar organizations out there offering similar stuff? Good luck!

Specializes in Med-Surg Nursing.

If you are a member of AACN(American Association of critical care Nurses) you can get free CEU's on their website!
