continuing education

At our school, we need to do 12 hours of continuing education. Does anyone know of free webinars for nurses? They would also have to have a printable certificate or printable letter of completion. I joined the NYSASN thinking they would have some good CME but so far, nothing unless you are able to attend the conferences, which I am not. Thank you!

If you need your CPR recert, do that.

Also, the Narcan I attended the other night was free.

I see you are in NY, go to your local county website or DOH website, sometimes they have stuff.

Join Medscape. They have CEs - probably not 12 hours worth, though. Our local childrens' hospitals offer summer courses (about six hours worth and I always learn one new thing.) ANA also offers training but those don't happen from your desk.

Good luck!
