Hello,
After 20 years in nursing, I have decided to pursue my BSN. I am considering 2 programs, one of which is WGU. I understand courses are graded on a pass/fail basis. Has anyone had trouble getting into an non-WGU MSN program with a WGU BSN?
Thanks!

Hey, I just applied to WGU for their RN to BSN and would like to pursue the MSN as well. Aiming for the August 1st start date.
We may be able to start together.

I am also considering a program through a local college. It is less expensive than WGU and I know the credits will transfer anywhere. However, the local program would have annoying discussion boards and require a practicum in either leadership or community health.
But, if I decide to go with WGU, it would be great to know someone with the same start date. I live in Florida. PM me if you want to chat about WGU or other programs. :)

If you have access to a local university with an online program where the tuition is less expensive than WGU, then I'd definitely do that. How long is the program? That is one benefit to WGU that most other programs don't have - the ability to accelerate.

I have been enrolled in the WGU RN-to-BSN degree program and am pleased with it so far.
