Connecticut Community Colleges - Applying for 2014

I've read through last year's version of this thread 100 times, so I thought I'd start a new one. I'm planning to apply for NCC's 2014 program. I'm taking A&P I right now (A- midterm grade, hoping to make that an A!) and will need to do the software applications class online in the winter session, so I won't be able to submit my app until final grades are out for that. Hopefully I won't be cutting it too close to the Feb 1st deadline! I'm taking my TEAS on November 18th.

Who else is applying? Where are you in the application process? Post your TEAS scores and GPA stats if you know them! My nursing GPA will be almost a 3.8 with an A- in A&P and an A in CSA105, but I dropped out two semesters in a row in 2006 (one semester medically excused but still on my transcript, the other no excuse, just screwed up being 19 and not very serious about my education at that time) I hope those hiccups won't count against me too much, luckily none of the classes I was taking at the time applied to the nursing program.

Sigh, I guess that's when it will be then, since it seems no one has heard anything different. Unless they're blatantly lying which I don't think they'd do. I just don't understand what's taking so long when I have it on good authority that the decisions are already made! It should only be a matter of loading them into commnet at this point. I think it's crappy of them to ruin everyone's Easter with this anxiety. Being wait listed would suck but the waiting is much worse!

Oh wow the 21st...10 more days of torture. I'm trying to have the mindset that thinking about it is not going to change the decision that has already been made BUT on the other hand I'm trying to find a glitch on my commnet. Lol.

I remember last year the "Nursing Required Items Status" link was not available a couple days before the "Nursing Decisions" link was active.

The earliest I can really see it being is this Friday and at that point what's one more weekend? Monday seems like a weird day to do it though. You'd think they'd want to get it over with on a Friday so everyone had a weekend to digest it before the frantic "what's my wait list number?" calls. But I thought it would be last week so what do I know?

Friday is a holiday. So if not before then, probably not until after Easter.

Aaahhh! The application status link is gone! This is it! The 'magical' link telling us whether we will be accepted/waitlisted should be up soon!
