Good Day!
I am a dual citizen German and Filipino. I have obtained a Nursing Degree from the Philippines last March 2010. I have passed the local nursing boards in the Philippines and was a nurse/ therapy facilitator in a wellness institute for 14 months. I have recently moved to Germany for 2 months now but would like to work in London as a nurse. I have all my documents with me such as my transcripts of records from my school and all supporting documents from the PRC (Philippine Regulatory Commission).
I would like to know how the registration works for Nurses like me who has an EU passport but graduated in the Philippines. Also, I would like to ask if there an adaptation course or continuing education or a course that will credit my Nursing Degree , so that I can qualify for NMC registration after completion of the course and will not have to deal as much with governing bodies in the Philippines.
Any response to my queries would be great! Thanks!

The NMC will want to see evidence of your nurse training to establish if you meet the requirements for registration, if you had done your training in the EU you would need to meet the requirements for EU nurses, as you have trained in the Philippines you will need to meet the overseas nurses criteria.

You will not be able to bypass the PRC to meet UK requirements. Most courses post grad will expect you to have a UK license and will also expect to see transcripts from the Philippines
