Hey,

I have my interview for Saturday PM! I'm trying to prepare by writing out some of the common interview questions they might ask on a doc and writing my answers, and then reading over the answers so that I have a general outline to follow when I'm answering the questions during the actual interview. I've never had a interview through zoom either, so not sure what to expect.. hope this helps!

Hi! I've been doing the same thing haha. I'm super nervous since I've never had a zoom interview either. Also! I noticed our names are super similar. I have the same interview time as you, hope to see you there! ?

Hi all,

Just curious, but those of you who got an interview, are you located out of OC? And what background experience did you guys have before applying? Wishing you guys luck! Hopefully there's a waitlist this year

Hi ? I did my undergrad in OC, but I am actually currently located in Norcal. My background experience is pretty limited, I have a few hours volunteering at my local hospital!

I'm interested in knowing this too! Also if anyone who got an interview doesn't mind sharing your GPA? Trying to figure out where I fell short because I have a ton of experience.

I'm interested in hearing others' GPAs and experience as well! My cumulative GPA is about a 3.5 and my prereq GPA is about 3.7

Sure! Glad to help. I completed most of my pre-reqs after undergrad at local JC’s in the South Bay Area. My overall GPA was 3.3, my pre-req GPA was 3.5, and I have about 4 years of direct patient care experience.

Glad to help! My overall was about 3.7 and my science GPA was 3.8. I have just a few hours of volunteer experience at a local hospital and my CNA license. hope this helps and good luck in your future!

Hi! I have a 3.3 overall GPA and my prereq GPA was a 3.0 and I had one class in progress and 2 AP scores. I also have about 250 hours of inpatient and outpatient experience. personally I think my letters of recommendation and personal statement helped

Hi,

I have a 4.0 in prerequisites and 3.8 cumulative. However, I do not have any medical experience.

I have a 3.35 overall and a 3.2 for my prerequisites. I have an interview Friday morning and I believe it’s due to my personal statements and references that allowed me to have this opportunity. Grades can only tell so much but being able to meticulously arrange words onto a paper to tell a story will much more about a person than grades.

Specializes in Biochemistry.

I have a 3.5 overall and I think 3.7 in prerequisites. As far as medical experiences I had a few but not a lot of hours overall. I agree that the main focus is probably essay & LOR.

Also, has anyone received the zoom info yet?

Overall GPA 3.5 and prerequisite GPA 3.3. I have about 350+ hours of patient care plus my hemodialysis certification. I currently work In healthcare and I had Awesome LOR. I think for me it has been my LOR that has given me the chance to get this interview and I am forever grateful!
