I noticed there wasn't a thread yet for fall 2020 and wanted to start one ! Whose applying ?!

Hi @caitlynhannahh I have about a 3.4 overall GPA and a 3.5 for my science prereqs. I have over 350 hours as a volunteer and health scholar at two different hospitals. I also have experience as a home care provider; part time for the past 16 months.

Sometimes I wonder how nursing programs decide who to accept. I applied to Cal State LA last year and was rejected but they accepted a few applicants who had no experience and 3.3 GPA.

I hope you're able to get on the waitlist!

hi! yeah I had to do the same for Concordia and a few other schools. I had my archive score report requests sent out in early January and was notified that my scores were sent out in early February. I checked with several schools mid-Feb whether or not they received my scores; Some did, some didn't. I checked with Concordia in April to see if my scores were received and I was told that they are not on file but it may be because they were not processing mail due to the campus closure. I sent them a copy of the confirmation I was sent from college board, along with a copy of my score report. They said that they would use that as a temporary placeholder until they can locate my official score report. I haven't followed up on my scores since then though. Hope this helps!

Yes this helps a lot thank you! I hope I can use my unofficial score report as a placeholder in the meantime while everything gets processed

For those who have their interviews today, do you mind sharing how the experience was? What sort of questions were asked, how the essay was, etc. Thank you and good luck! You all got this!

If you prepared for the interview you should be fine. Just be your genuine self. It will last the full duration so make sure you have a snack and some water. Also do not over indulge in coffee LOL. The essay portion is 40 minutes in length and is not an oddball question so again if you did normal interview preparation you will be fine. Breathe you got this! Good luck to everyone!

Right after or to the e-mail? I did right after, but nothing more than that. To everyone else, good luck and be yourself! It’s a lengthy process, so be sure to bring water during your interview. You guys will all do great!

Via e-mail! I did get the screen that said my essay was submitted right after I finished, but I thought it was mentioned that we would get an e-mail confirmation as well. I could have misunderstood that though haha

I got a confirmation when I submitted it but just through the Google form. I believe she said that was the only confirmation we will get

I also did not receive an emails after my submission. Got a little worried but I think you're right it might just be the confirmation page at the end
