Hi everyone! I noticed that there wasn't a thread yet for CUI's Fall 2021 ABSN program and wanted to start one! Is there anyone else applying?

@serena98 Hello! Unfortunately, I'm not too sure how the processing of AP scores goes. There was a post on a previous forum (Fall 2020 cohort from the link) where someone mentioned something similar about their AP scores. They said that they sent Concordia a copy of the confirmation from college board, along with a copy of their score report. Concordia said that they would use that as a temporary placeholder until they could locate the official score report. 

If you want to make sure that you won't be disqualified from the application, you can try enrolling in an intro to Psychology course for now and send Concordia proof that you're enrolled in that course (via unofficial transcripts). 

Have you tried emailing Concordia? They usually don't take too long to respond (within an hour or so usually).

Hi! This was so helpful, thank you so much!! I tried calling, but it immediately went to voicemail so I have a feeling they're probably swamped on their end, considering its the last day. I am sending in an email of my AP Score Request form to them as well, and I quickly signed up for a Intro. to Psychology course at my cc so I am sending in proof of that as well as an additional back-up plan. I just don't want my AP Psychology Exam from high school to be the reason my application is cancelled /: Thank you, again though! I really appreciate it.

Does anyone with courses still in progress have the "college requirement" still listed as pending on their application status page? Final grades for my courses aren't posted until June 4th but two of the three classes are finalized so I already submitted an unofficial transcript to them that only has one course listed as "IP." I also sent letters from both my professors stating that I was in good standing to pass the course. Should I be okay even though the application status is still pending; I'm assuming it is pending until they receive the official transcript.

@Allison Newhouse Hi! I would email Concordia to make sure that they received your unofficial transcripts or the progress reports from your professors. I'm thinking that since the deadline is today, they might be a little backed up on updating the tracker. Also since the category "college requirement" might be a little broad, I think it might be best to just double check with them on what documents they've received so far. Hopefully that helps!

Hi everyone! Did anyone else receive an email from Concordia saying that their application file is complete?

@CBShiro I have not since they are still processing my last LOR, which is still under pending. I hope I get that email soon! The application deadline is at 4:30 today, so I wish everyone the best of luck and hopefully you all submitted everything!

@CBShiro I received an email that it's complete as well! But when I look at the tracker I still have 5 college requirements pending. I have 4 college requirements received though. Not sure if it's just not updated yet haha. I don't have any pre-reqs in progress and sent in all my transcripts. Is your tracker showing everything under received?

I received the email and my tracker shows everything as received.  I wouldn't worry about the tracker if you received the email.  Good luck!

I’m a bit worried now since I didn’t receive any email about my application being complete. I just have the LOR pending but the recommender said they submitted it & sent me confirmation. I wonder if it’s just slow...

I think it might be slow since I turned my application last Monday and it kept saying pending. I didn’t say it was fully turned in until the weekend. As long as your mail was received by June 1st you should be good. I asked Henny and she said they were getting a lot of mail, so you’ll have to wait for them to update.

yes, I think you just have to wait for the tracker to update. I sent an email last week and they told me they're getting an unusually high volume of applicants! I'm sure if they received it by June 1st, you will be good!! ?
