Hi! I did my undergraduate degree in public health so I have a lot of volunteer experience working with TB fundraisers and community health programs. I did a year long internship with my University’s Adaptive Athletics Department which was more PT based but I assisted disabled athletes in practices and workouts. Anxiously waiting to hear back from OC and hopefully get to meet you all!

That's a positive at least. Hopefully we hear back soon from the waitlist but December 15th will be the termination date of the waitlist, from my understanding, so I guess it's just a day by day. I wish they would let us know our position on the waitlist...

Hi! I just called an advisor and they were saying that they’re hoping to notify people on the waitlist by December 15th... this is absolutely insane. Maybe you could call and see what they say? That is super last minute to notify students.

Hi! I’m currently waitlisted for a program in Canada and was recently rejected from ASU. So I’m really stressed about hearing back from USF. I should get into the Canadian program since I’m 1st on the waitlist but I’d like to have some options.

Yes! Patiently waiting. I hate that they notify us so late. Feel like I might have to make a decision on other schools before I even know if I get into USF...
  7. Hi Crystal,

Would you mind sending me an email and we could chat about the nursing advisor you were recommending I contact for U of C?

    Thanks,

    Allison

Thank! I’ve already been in contact with admissions and they disclosed that they had filled the nursing program before they had completed my course assessments. They said I would’ve been accepted with the 3.6 regardless, but they had filled the program. So now I have to hope for the waitlist.

Super annoyed. Calgary waitlisted me with a 3.6 which confused me because I had calculated my GPA as a 3.7 I called admissions only to find out that they took a course that I received a B in for my art requirement when I had originally submitted and syllabus for a class I had an A in. They took it up with the art department and turns out the class I originally submitted is transferable so they approved that and I’m now at the 3.7 that I initially calculated. Only thing is they still have me placed on the waitlist when this was a mistake on their end. I don’t know how to go about this. I’m an international student and there is a lot that comes with moving to Calgary, especially with COVID-19 restrictions that makes this even more difficult to be left to the last minute.

Hi, I was recently waitlisted with a 3.6 GPA. I called admissions and a 3.6 is currently the cutoff.

Hi everyone! It’s been well over 3 weeks with my portal still reviewing my courses to see if they meet the requirements. I’ve called multiple times and it’s due to my anatomy & physiology pre-req. I tried to email the nursing email from the school website to see if I could give them a more detailed syllabus than the course outline I originally provided (hoping that might speed up the process) but no response yet. I was recently rejected from another program here in the U.S so I’m starting to really stress about where I’m going to get into/the moving process with covid right now. Did anyone else have this issue with waiting so long for the reviewing process? Last I checked the cut off was a 3.6 and with my calculations I should be above that but the waiting game is painful, especially hearing that people are able to apply for classes already and that some people have been waitlisted with over a 3.6... congrats to those already admitted!

Hi guys! Does anyone know when we should expect to hear back on admission? I’m playing the waiting game with a couple other schools and it’s stressing me out!

Hi everyone! In regard to the titers, don’t we have to wait to get accepted to receive a code for the castlebranch where we will have the drug screening and background check? I have all my immunizations up to date and CPR. I also just sent in my fingerprints for that as well for that clearance.

Hi guys! I’m an international applicant and my portal has been “reviewing courses” to see if they meet the requirement for almost 3 weeks now. I know that it can take longer with international documents, but did anyone else have this problem? I called and they said it’s my anatomy & physiology under review... I hate the wait to hear back. The course should definitely be accepted since it was sufficient for my previous B.S degree. I’m still unsure what my final GPA is because they said they couldn’t disclose that until the courses are approved to calculate it, however I’ve earned a 3.8 in both my last two semesters of my undergrad, so I’m assuming it’ll fall within that range. Congrats to everyone that’s been accepted already!
