I thought I'd start a thread for those of us applying to Concordia for the upcoming fall semester. Previous classes have had really active threads in this forum, and I'd love to meet some of my potential (fingers crossed!) new classmates. I just had my interview, so now I'm in the checking-my-mailbox-everyday phase of the application process
How is everyone feeling? Have you applied anywhere else? Was anyone else surprised by the TEAS requirement?
@copelam5280 I'll be at the orientation tomorrow! Have you heard of anything we should bring or what the dress code is? After I emailed back saying I would be attending on the 19th I didn't hear anything back
memw, I did go with the XS. They offer XXS, but he didn't have any available to try on. I probably should have gone with the XXS scrub top, bc that polyester is definitely not shrinking in the dryer! haha The XS pants were incredibly wide, but the length was just about right for my height. The salesperson I spoke to said they would be ready the first wk of August.
@ashleykb I've been looking at apartments through craiglist!. It definitely takes a lot of searching. I've spoken to a few people who are leasing them. I actually have an appt to see one on tuesday.
Thanks for that! Yes, I lived in NYC before I came back to Atlanta to do my core classes and it did seem Craigslist was the way to go! However, I am arranging from Atlanta so it is a challenge! Are you planning on living near Bronxville?
I've been looking in Bronxville and areas around it as well. Has anyone applied for on campus housing/heard back? I sent in my application about a month ago and haven't heard anything. Also I think a facebook page/group is a great idea! :)
