Hey everyone!
I thought I'd start a thread for those of us applying to Concordia for the upcoming fall semester. Previous classes have had really active threads in this forum, and I'd love to meet some of my potential (fingers crossed!) new classmates. I just had my interview, so now I'm in the checking-my-mailbox-everyday phase of the application process
How is everyone feeling? Have you applied anywhere else? Was anyone else surprised by the TEAS requirement?
Hope to hear from you!
hey guys,
I made a Facebook group and just added one of my friends for the mean time to get one started. here is the link! hopefully it works.
I know a lot of people are also having a hard time finding a place to live off campus. I met with a woman yesterday at an apartment complex in New Rochelle literally 10 min from campus. As far as I know a lot of the vacant spaces are studios and 1BR. The rooms have been renovated for the most part and almost everything is brand new. Its right next to Montefiore Hospital a branch hospital I think we will be working at. Majority of the people who live in this building are residents at the hospital as well. I told her a lot of students are having a hard time and she said feel free to let anyone know about it. Its 80 Guion place New Rochelle and I think 50 Guion place. Everything is included in the rent minus cable, parking spots are also available for every person who rents. I have her phone number and can probably get her email if anyone is interested. I know housing has been tough so i figured I would spread the word.
NEWLY RENOVATED STUDIO INCL ALL UTLITIES +PARKING !
Here is the link directly to the info. If you hit reply in the top left corner you will see an email address. May look strange if any of you aren't familiar with Craigslist but it's the right one. Tell her you are interested and she said to please add my name so she is aware. Just say Melissa told you! She's a nice woman who is willing to lease the open spaces!

Hi!
Yup been looking around Bronxville and New Rochelle. Looking virtually that is as I am not yet in New York so doing everything via email.
I applied to housing and called them last week. They said there was a waiting list and I was 4th on it. Basically,
doesn't sound like I will be living on campus.
I attempted to create a FB group but perhaps I am not FB inclined enough. It said, to create a group I have to have people
and friends to invite to it.
Anyone in this program, feel free to find me on FB as I am sure we are eager to start feeling a good community.
