I just sent off my application for Accelerated Nursing program at Concordia College for the fall of 2013. I'm really excited and nervous. I saw the thread for the fall 2012 was quite active and a few would-be 2013 students had posted to that one so I thought I should start a new one.
Anyway, I would LOVE to hear from any posters on the 2012 thread about how their experience has been going,anyone who is finished with the program, and anyone who is applying like me!
Hello everyone, I had my interview on March 19th and I am literally driving myself insane waiting for a decision letter. I am trying my best to remain optimistic. Congrats to those who have been accepted and good luck to the rest of you!!!!
I wrote this earlier in the thread...I interviewed feb 27th so called a couple weeks ago about my decision letter. They told me the dean was on vacation and letters should go out by April 1st so hopefully well get something this week! Not gonna lie I'm nervous!
I sent an email today to inquire about the possibility of an April 1 mailing. Also to see if the 3/11 candidates would be mailed two weeks later. I was told that they just got back from Easter break, and ******will still be out until Wednesday. The letters won't go out at least until ***** gets back, he is processing them. So at the earliest they may be mailed late this week or early next week. Hope that helps. Looks like no racing to the mailbox this week :)
Geez the ppl who interviewed earlier had it so much easier!! They only had to wait a couple of few weeks. Thanks so much for that info though!! Really helpful. Good luck all :)
Can anyone share their interview experience? For me, it was a little different. They didn't really ask any questions...it was more like why not this other school and questions on graduation, they just wanted to know if I had any questions. Did anyone have a familiar experience?
Sooo I interviewed on March 5th and have still not heard back. So happy to hear that the majority of people who interviewed in March/late February have not heard back yet either. Jeez it is torturing me, especially because I thought I would hear back in about 2 weeks which was the case with the earlier interviewees and class of 2012! A good lesson in patience though. I thought the interview went very well and I'm very hopeful. I really hope to hear back soon! Good luck everyone.
BUT the only reason I found out is because I had not mailed them my final transcript showing my grade in my last pre-req course, and they didn't want to send me a conditional acceptance letter, so I got a call today from ***** in admissions asking if I could bring that over and he told me that I am being accepted. I'm going to drop it off with him tomorrow.
so happy and grateful. Totally normal for anyone interviewing in mid feb-march to not find out yet. hes back from vacay today and working on the letters, so you guys will find out very soon! Good luck!!!
Seems like we are going to be classmates afterall. Yeah for Mount Vernon!! I got in!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!:) Eric said that he would be mailing out so everyone should find out soon. I had to find out early so I could give an admission decision for another program that I got into.
I am so psyched. I can finally relax until June....when I will pick back up my AP book to go over stuff. I really don't remember AP.
