Hey ya'll. I just submitted my app last week (on day of deadline) and am complete. Waiting to hear back about interview offer, or lack thereof. This is the only school I applied to because I can get all prereqs done by summer. I have a friend that went to Concordia NY and loved his experience. Anyone else apply or accepted yet? Let's get a 2017 channel going!
@hbs1521 It was very laid back as others have said. It was just one member of the faculty and she asked why I wanted to be a nurse and what I was doing currently. She also reiterated how difficult and fast paced the program is and wanted to make sure I understood how much of a commitment it is. I had already been on a tour during an open house so we skipped that and I was out of there in about 15 minutes lol. Don't worry I'm sure you'll be fine!
I had my interview today and as everyone has been saying, it was laid back and quick. The interviewer asked what I've done professionally since graduating college and emphasized that the program is demanding. She was very nice.
For all of you that have been accepted, how are you paying for the program? If I understand correctly, we can't get federal loans since we already have bachelor degrees, so that means that we have to pay out of pocket (which I can't do at all) or do private student loans. Anyone wanna share what they're thinking money-wise?
Thanks everyone! Anesthetist - it's the same link as the one used to check for missing documents. https://banweb.concordia-ny.edu/pls/ccny/byapplst.P_AdmInputForm
Hi Anesthetist123, you should be able to access it through this link: Banner Self-Service. Hope this helps!
