Anyone applying to Concordia's program in Bronxville, NY for the fall? Haven't seen a thread for it yet!
Please take my advice as a current student in the accelerated program. Stick with whatever other options you all are interested in. This is the most unorganized, we do whatever we feel this week program I have ever enrolled in. Yes the interview process is great, the campus is small and nice, but once your tuition is paid all those nice caring attitudes go out the window. You all should ask them if they can give you statistics on what percentage of the class is on academic probation. No Im not one of them but I was amazed to find out how many students are struggling, not due to lack of studying, rather the ridicilous exams they give. we practice with NCLEX 4000 questions outside of class and the a large portion of the material we learn in class are no where to be found on actual NCLEX questions. I can't complain to much I have made it through so far, and doing well however if I had to do it all over againI wouldve gone elsewhere.I can answer more specific questions if you post any.
have u heard from mount saint vincent yet? i applied there as well...
@ Genu9ine, I was accepted for the Spring but passed them down...mainly b/c I'm interested in an accelerated program, and they don't have one...also they cannot guarantee that when you're ready to start your clinicals, that they will even have a seat for you!! They told me that they have a waiting list for clinicals--which only start every Sept. by-the-way...therefore, the program that was supposed to be 2 years for me, has the possiblilty to stretch out for 3+ years!!??
