Concordia College (NY) ABSN Fall 2010

Anyone applying to Concordia's program in Bronxville, NY for the fall? Haven't seen a thread for it yet!

have all said "JUST DO NCLEX 4000 QUESTIONS EVERYDAY" and that the majority of the stuff that appeard on NCLEX they through doing question everyday until it was time to take their exams.

is "NCLEX 4000" the name of a CD/program/study guide/etc or just 4000 questions?

I also just submitted my application for the 2011 program. Has anyone started to hear anything from the Dean regarding interviews?

I just applied to the ABSN program as well and am wondering if anyone has received any feedback?

Also, what kind of grades do you have? I am worried that my grades are not good enough...

Has anyone gotten a call regarding interviews? I was told that calls would start last week but haven't been contacted. Does everyone get interviewed. If Im not cantacted is it same to say I didn't get in? Just wondering....

i have not heard anything either, please post when you do! Everyone does get interviewed and then has to complete a writing sample after the interview

So you applied a few months ago? When was your interview? What was the interview like? Writing sample? Do you mind sharing what what your grades were?

My name is Ilana, btw. I applied to Concordia a few weeks ago and was told that interviewing would start soon. I didnt know that ppl already interviewed??

i applied for the 2010 cohort. my interivew was last summer. interview was very relaxed just like everyone has said. it consisted of her explaning more of what the program entailed and what was expected of us...than her asking us questions. I dont remember what the writing sample was about but we had to read this article and answer a few questions essay style...like your typical, intro, 2 bodies, and a conclusion. nothing crazy. i have a degree in another field but my pre-req grades were a 3.4. Im sure interviews will be starting very soon it was the same thing last year. Hope this is helpful!!!
