Computer Whizzes!--How About a Nursing Wallpaper?

Oh man the nursing wall papers or themes that I have found are less that what I would have hoped for. I made my own for my site, but don't know how to technically do it really. Not enough for a download or what not...just used some imagination on web pages that have thier own basic set up...I just put in graphics and what not on colored fields....nothing big

Yeah...that would be very cool! Of course if I put one up on my computer...my hubby would have a cow! LOL! (he is paramedic!).

This is so funny! Okay, so when I was 21 I went up with some friends to Vancouver Canada for a Westcon convention. That is a convention of SERIOUS sci fi folks...from star trek to you name it (I was bored and thought..what they hey!). Well..they had this ball, and you had to come in costume! I made a costume like the theater CATS using a body suit and sting freyed and lots of make up I had...I didn't know we had to dress up, so this was total makeshift!

Well it was back in the latter 80's and 21 jumpstreet was in its final season (I think it was their final) up there...and Johny Depp just got done making Edward Scissor hands...so a bit of back ground...

So I go to this HUGE ball on the campus of a college there...and out comes this stunning gent in an Edward Scissor hands costume, and it looked so genuine! I got a chance to dance with the guy...and I really didn't say much...we only danced for a few minutes...and okay whatever! I was off having fun minutes later...

WELL..guess who it was!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG! In the papers the next day...was a huge article about Johnny Depp going to a sci fi geek convention ball in his costume...and I about fainted!!!!!!!! Okay...I wished I would have known...at least I would have talked a bit more or at least grabbed his tooshie..LOL! (and back then he was still quite the hottie!!!!!!!!!)...I really to this day wonder if this was true, but the local papers said so...so I guess I danced with Johnny Depp! (which I really liked Richard Greco, but ya know ).

My only moment of fame..if you consider being near someone of fame..LOL! That was just too funny to see that article and go...'NO WAY!..Naaaaaa not possible...huh?" LOL!

That's what I was thinking too, talaxandra! I still think he's HOT!

How my "nursing wallpaper" thread turned into a Johnny Depp thread is beyond me (but I ain't complainin')! :rotfl:

I found two awhile back and have them saved on my computer. Unfortunately, I don't remember where I found them, so I don't know who to give credit to. Here's the links and I wrote directions on how to get them:

Once you get on the page and decide that you want to use one of them, right click on the image and choose "save picture as". name and save the file, making sure to remember where you are saving it.

to set it up as your wallpaper, go back to your desktop. right click in open space and choose "properties". choose "desktop". then "browse". open up the file that you saved. then it will show you the background in the preview screen. (You may have to choose "position" and change it to stretch if it looks funny). Then press "apply" and "okay" and then you're good to go.
