Computer Shut Down at 80-90 Questions

Hi Everyone,

I had just took my Nclex-Rn yesterday. I had a hard time sleeping. My computer shut down at around 80 questions. During the whole time before 75 questions. My questions contain many drugs, some drugs questions were 4 drugs and 4 patients and you have to pick which one is right (similar to Kaplan questions trainer 7), 2 SATA, 1 put them in order, many medications, many priorities, 2-3 diet, 1 delegation. After the 75 questions I do not remember, just remember the last questions was about diet. (After 75, the questions lever seem like more in around 3-6 questions trainer in Kaplan,,,,) They give you an disease and you select the diet that right for this person. So, I am not sure that consider easy or hard questions. I had been worry ever since yesterday and can not sleep. Only sleep like 4 hours and wakeup. Thinking about this exam. I had been study a lot, Kaplan-Saunder-do over 3,000 questions +........ :heartbeat

Thanks,

Thanks,

Relax! Haven't taken boards for ages but have been listening to new nurses who have taken computer versions the last few years. My opinion is that those with fewer questions have usually gotten a passing score. It seems those who get more don't do so well. Besides, you only have to wait a few days to get results and we had to wait 6 weeks. I think you did well.

Thanks,

Relax. The NCLEX is given using computer adaptive testing. It starts by giving you a medium difficulty question, and then gives you a harder one if you pass it and an easier one if you dont. From there, it analyzes where you fit. Generally, if you get a low amount of questions, you did really poorly, or really well. In your case, from the amount of preparation that you did, I would bet you did really well. Get some rest and go out and do some fun things to take your mind off it.
