Ok, so I finished my 1st week of school and I'm feeling really good. You really have to adjust to the routine of being organized, reading what is assigned, not only completing your work, but UNDERSTANDING it. Taking notes is very, very important, my fingers are still sore from writing. There are so many books!! Invest in a roller bag, trust me it will save your back!
If you started this week, how was it? Is it still sinking in that you are now in Nursing School? Any pointers or words of advice that you can add?

I started this week as well.... I'm studying for our first exam in Monday. It's over the first 4 chapters in our fundamentals of nursing book. We've already began to check off on skills in our nurse fundamentals lab class.... I'm really excited, but kinda nervous about the 1st exam!! I wish u luck!!

Steph & Deidre, way to go, I am so proud of you both. Nursing School is a learning and memorable experience. It will be a lot of hard work and clinical will be a jaw dropping experience. You both will make it. Try to earn a very high grade in your first exam to keep you above water early. Try not to share your grades because your friends will becomes your enemies very fast. Stay Strong and press on. Many Blessing for the New Year.

Great advice @Hadassah16. There are a couple of people in my class that always shout out when the make an A on a test or exam and you can see some of my classmates rolling their eyes. It comes off as snobbish. But oh well. Do your best, volunteer as much as possible and always be early (on time).
