I haven't found a forum yet for this semester, re applying for the 2nd time. Extremely nervous.

I got an email from SHP Nursing Cas saying I was below the 2.5 GPA requirement. Did anybody else get that email today?

Not yet. How was your GPA?

I mean I have a 2.74 undergrad cumulative GPA. I have a B in A&PI and a C in A&PII plus a B in English and a C in Stats.

I don't know if I need to worry or not because my SHP Cas doesn't indicate that my application is under review although the email I received today says that it is.

GPA requirements are 2.5 for classes not taken at CCBC

2.00 for classes taken at CCBC

check your GPA on the application. It gives you an overall GPA and a science GPA. I believe they both have to be over/at the minimum requirement.

Well, my undergrad GPA was 2.74 so I'm fine. I haven't taken any coursework at CCBC.

if you didn't recieve the email saying your app was complete and there was nothing left for you to do maybe you should email shpseat, if you're not a ccbc student I don't think you can talk to an advisor but I'm not sure.

Hello all,

I graduated from the CCBC Essex RN program back in 2022.  I remember being so nervous when I applied back then and how LONG the wait seemed to take for a definitive answer on acceptance!  I remember going through previous threads trying to figure out what the program would be like.

If anyone has any questions about the program, feel free to ask and I can try to answer!

When I went, I was evening/weekend. Core classes were generally Tues/Thurs with 2 semesters also having a 1 credit course on Monday or Wednesdays.  Clinicals were on weekends.
