HI Everyone-

I start my new labor and delivery job soon and am brushing up on my OB meds. Just wondering what you would recommend I know backwards and forwards for the floor. I will also rotate through PP for a couple weeks. Just wanting to get a jump on things before orientation! Suggestions?

:) Thanks!

God bless you for this post! I started in PP recently and I've given lots of percoset and toradol and motrin. I really want to know them and the other OB drugs inside and out! Thanks for the list!

Good post! I've been wanting to make a list like this for new OB nurses because I remember having to look every thing up before I gave it when I was new and if I had a list like this it would have been helpful ....Thanks...Add... Tobramycin, Demerol eekk, Erythromycin ointment for baby's eyes, Vitamin K inj. for baby after deliveryPsych meds too depending on the hopital you work for ;)...haldol, lorazapam etc...
