  1. I took an oath as a nurse, Yes, I would work but with the proper PPE.
  2. Let us all learn from this and always have family members sitting down out of view of the procedure or better yet, out of the room till the procedure is done. I too had a mother faint watching the needle go in her daughters back I noticed it happening thank goodness and was able to save her from hitting her head on the floor. Lesson learned!....FYI Family members also faint during delivery and putting in IV's etc.. so be aware and always have them sitting down. Very Sad post but excellent for all to learn from. Thanks

I've been wanting to make a list like this for new OB nurses because I remember having to look every thing up before I gave it when I was new and if I had a list like this it would have been helpful ....Thanks...Add... Tobramycin, Demerol eekk, Erythromycin ointment for baby's eyes, Vitamin K inj. for baby after deliveryPsych meds too depending on the hopital you work for ...haldol, lorazapam etc...
