Comfortable Shoes

Hello Everyone!!

I was wondering if you lovely beings could suggest a comfortable pair of shoes to wear. I feel like after walking all day, I am walking on nubs! I want to be in the nursing field for a long time and can't afford to wear my feet out after one year.

I am a Nike fan myself. Many of the ppl I go to school with swear by their crocs, the dw almost refuses to wear anything but dansko and I know a coterie of old hippies that live and die by their birkenstocks.

I am all about light weight, high cushion. I will give the crocs a try but I kinda like the security of being laced into my Nikes.

Actually, I never wore (nor wear) Birks unless I'm on the floor. I might be old enough to be a hippie, but Birks *are* hideous.
