Hey, I wanted to start a thread for those who applied to the DNP program at Columbia. Good luck for everyone

Did any of those who applied to any of the dnp programs have a formal interview?

This is what I received "We expect to send updates after the initial reviewof applications in mid-March. Thank you again for your understanding, and we appreciate your enthusiasm for the program.”

Hey guys, 

Just following this thread and realizing there's a bit of miscommunication. For those who applied MDE, if you are going to join this discussion posting whether you received acceptances or emails, please put a comment/disclaimer that you are an MDE applicant. This is the thread for post-BSN DNP. There is an existing thread for MDE already. Post-BSN DNP and MDE do not receive decisions at the same time and right now I'm unsure if the email sent out regarding staggering acceptances over 2 weeks was meant for MDE or post-BSN DNP. I am a post-BSN DNP applicant and didn't receive that email, did any other post-BSN applicant receive that email or was it for MDE applicants?

Applied for the acute care Post-BSN/DNP and I did not receive an email 🙂

Applied FNP. Didn't receive email. I emailed and they said will be Mid March.

This email was only for MDE or MDE/DNP applicants! For the two week rounds!

For the students who applied BSN-DNP, what are our stats looking like? I'm a new grad RN! I just graduated from an ABSN program in December with GPA 3.5 and 2 additional degrees in Biology and Psychology, prior to my Nursing degree. Are new grads often accepted into their program?

I'm a BSN-DNP applicant. Received an email on 2/20 that said "Your application has passed the initial admissions review and is considered complete for review"

I applied for the FNP program! Looks like past applicants received their acceptance letters mid March? The wait is so nervewracking!

Yeah it is! I wonder how many applicants there are to each specialty!
