Hi, I got accepted to both Columbia and Hopkin's Psych DNP program. Can you guys please give me your honest reviews if you have attended either one, the cost, the faculty, the program...anything would help me make my decision! I have only a few days left to decide! (I do live in NYC and would have to travel to Jersey for my Hopkins clinicals - that is a big factor but I've heard it's ranked #1). Thanks!

Hiii fellow future psych dnp! I'm also curious about all of these things! We have an accepted students zoom webinar on Monday so we should be able to ask those questions there! I'm also wondering about what the curriculum is like. I'm assuming clinicals begin second semester?

Yeah I'm also thinking maybe it's the number of applications? But I feel like Hopkins probably gets even more since it's an online program (at least the psych dnp) and ranked #1 for dnp. Which specialty did you apply for? I live right by Columbia so really hoping to get in.

Yeah they are taking a really long time! I got into John Hopkins and need to pay my deposit if it's my only option but Columbia is my first choice so I hope they release decisions soon! Program is starting in 2 months!

From February to April... same, which program did you apply to?

Whaaaat?! Their website said February, then on email and call, they said mid-March, and now it's looking like April? I feel like I can't plan my life ahead without knowing, I really hope it's sometime sooner.

Same here. It's so stressful how it can be ANY day and it keeps getting delayed. No decisions yet for me!
