I know the application hasn't opened yet, but wondering if there was anyone else thinking of applying to Columbia MDE/DNP programs for June 2022 entry?

700-800 sounds less than what they got last year to be honest. But I wish they told decisions earlier so we can get a refund because I got a B- in A&P 1 and don’t need to retake for any other school except Columbia. ?

For 2021 cycle, They had about 950 “submitted” applications … which is not more than our year… about 100-150 more.  They also had A LOT of applications that were started but never completed by the deadline. That’s probably where you heard the high number from… I think it as like 1250ish.

Guys I know they always say February.  They say that every year. Historically they always released them mid to late January though… so I would hope that’s the case again or sooner. Getting close!

This is the past few years “dates of decisions” posted: 

2021 - two rounds jan 7th and then second late last week of February.

2020- Jan 27th (mon)

2019- Jan 25th (Friday)

2018 - Jan 30th (Tuesday)

2017- Feb 2nd (Thursday)

If you go through the forum threads on here, you’ll see EVERY time the admissions team answers “sometime in February”  to anyone who asks… so it’s really hard to say when it will happen.  I’m hopeful for “pre-February”.  There are also people who get told random things from admissions (or at least that is what they report on here)… So who the heck really knows. CUSON has an application deadline…so one would think they should have a consistent decision date posted as well. It will eliminate confusion and anxiety from applicants who need to make decisions with acceptances from other schools.
