Columbia ETP 2016

Published

Hello!

I know this is a bit early, but I'm planning to apply to the apply to the Columbia Entry to Practice Program (among a few others) this fall. I've seen similar forums for past application periods, and thought it might be nice to get one started so we can start to bounce ideas and questions off each other.

Has anyone been to an open house? Any information worth sharing?

I'm also sure you're not the only one with a minor typo. I probably have at least one, but have chosen not to look (better for me so I don't obsess!).

It's going to be a long 3 more months. Eek!

Submitted my application last week... Anyone know when we should start to expect hearing back from the admissions boards?

I feel like they said by January they should let us know. They don't do interviews so there's none of that to worry about. Submitted mine last week too- so anxious.

Submitted mine last week! Super excited but nervous- I don't have the highest GRE score, but hopefully everything else will balance it out. My friends goes there now and loves it!

is it January yet? The waiting is killing me.

Do they tell us towards the end of January?

I hope they let us know by early January

I hope so too. We'll just have to wait I guess.

The website says decisions are posted in February:

Admissions and Financial Aid | School of Nursing

In previous years people on similar forums have said they heard back mid-February. I'm not sure if it might take them longer to make decisions this year because of the changes they've made to the structure of the program.

This is going to be a long wait..... :(

Hi,

Does anyone know whether after we submit our application they send us anything that links us to the status of our application? So far, I only have the email saying I submitted it and a bunch to general follow up emails.

Thanks!!

Hey lato,

I don't think they do anything else other than follow up with general updates. I just received an email this morning saying that my application past the initial review and has now moved on to faculty admissions.
