Colorado RN license by endorsement, help please!

U.S.A. Colorado

Hi everyone!

I've seen some posts about this topic but not with the specific info I was looking for so hoping someone can help. I am an RN in Illinois (so not a compact state) and submitted all my license endorsement application materials to CO a couple weeks ago, today I emailed the office and they told me they just received the last part of my application (the license verification from Illinois) so it's now complete.

Does anyone know when I can expect my temporary CO license? When I asked them for a timeline via email the response was a copy and paste from their website saying not to make life decision based on submission of the application, that there is no guarantee of licensing.. I have a job offer in CO and would love at least a rough estimate of when I might have my temporary license!

Anyone who's gone through this process and can shine some light on it, I'd really appreciate your insight!

Thanks :)

I applied my license via examination so it may be different with endorsement. DORA really didn't like to give you a timeline, not even a rough one, but the fact is that they work really fast. 2 days after I got the good pop-up, I saw my name and license number listed on DORA website. So just be patient and wait. :)
