Does anyone work at Children's? I wanted to know how it is there and how the staff are? I am applying and hope they give me a interview. Seems like a hard place to get into. I have been researching and it seems like a wonderful place to work and I feel like they may pay well? Thank you for any information!

I was just hired by TCH. I haven't started yet, but everyone I know who works there loves it, physicians included. As far as pay, I took about a $.80/hour pay cut. So no, I wouldn't say pay is great. It's about average for the area. I feel very honored and privileged to call myself an employee there, as it's a prestigious hospital and I've been told it's hard to get a job there.
Thank you for getting back to me!! Are you a RN? What area are you working in? I applied for a medical floor and to be in float pool as a CNA. I would love to be a RN there when I finish school. I wonder what it is like to work with children? I have always worked with adults. I think the youngest I worked with was 18?
I am an RN and I'll be in research, so I will just be working with pregnant women and newborns.
Oh Ok! Awesome! Well good luck with everything!

I don't work there but I know several people who have and it has an awesome reputation both from RNs and patients. I would recommend it to anyone and if my kids ever get really sick they are going there.
Thanks for your response! I am hoping to get a job there! I've been applying like crazy! lol
