I had no issues at all. I even double checked my apt and I’m still scheduled. Is the code only for a place? Is it the same code for us all?

Yea I am in Mckinney and signed up for the location on Virginia, I was thinking it had that access code and then said nursing so it was all correct.

Yes, we all have the same code. It was sent in the first of emails. I believe we were supposed to put the code in the spot that asks for a location. I did not do that, I just picked a location closest to me. Those of you who have registered, did you use the code?

In case anyone else previously did background check or had a Blue card but lost it, you can call the TX BON and verify they have everything they need.

I called and was told I don't need another background check and after they clear me with DPS (which takes 14 days) they will mail a Blue Card to me.

I had gotten a Blue Card in 2017 when at UTA and then lost my card when some property was taken during my divorce. Glad to finally have this resolved!

Ah. Yes. Sorry, when I clicked the link in the email, it automatically filled it in for me. Can you check the status of your apt online through identoGo?

OK, I am so confused about the BLS class and my Identogo appointment.

BLS: I tried to purchase from AHA's website, it wouldn't let me check out. Apparently there is an online and in person class portion? But it wouldn't show me where to get my in-person training done. Is there a facility I can purchase them at or get it all done at once? I'm so confused, I'd rather purchase it together because it doesn't make sense, and I don't want to waste my money or time if it's not the right classes.

As far as the BLS, you should be able to search for a provider in your area. I went to a ladies house to do mine and I paid when it was complete.

I set up the Identogo the same way you did. I was told to bring your email from Identogo and the school just incase you need it.

I think I went to the same BLS training place. It was like 3 hours or something like that. Super quick and easy. I just forget what it was called.

The class, I did all in person. I did mine in Frisco, closest. I found where I wanted to take mine then just searched for their site to buy the option I wanted. (We got done early, it didn’t take the whole time. My class was very small).

I did the same thing. And I was told the same. I’m not too worried, I don’t know what the miscommunication was on the code but I think as long as it goes to the TX Board of Nursing, it doesn’t *really matter… since we should have access to all the information and we could get it to whoever we need to.

Same here super excitedd! I can't wait for orientation either LOL, does anyone know how long it is? I know it starts at 9.
