Collin College Nursing Fall 2021

Hello! I know I am super early, but just trying to be proactive. I am planning on applying to the Fall 2021 ADN program at Collin. I currently have a B in A and P 1 and 2 and will be finishing Micro in the Spring semester. Does anyone know someone who has gotten in with B's in the science pre-reqs and a higher TEAS score? I'm taking the TEAS in 2 weeks and if I need to plan to take it again before submitting my final application in May. Any insight would be helpful ?

When you all ordered your kit, did it say it’s on back order?

I have another question.  I did my BLS class today and was send an e-card.  On the castle branch site it says to show both sides of the card and it must be signed, but there is no place to sign the e-card.  What did you all do?

I just uploaded the e-card and they accepted it. I didn’t sign it or anything.

Yeah, mine said back order too but then I received another email saying it was ready to be picked up from the bookstore (even though I asked for it to be shipped when checking out). I called them and they said to disregard that and that I/we would receive the bags on the first day of lab. But who actually knows, the gal could've said some bs... it was like pulling teeth to get the lady to answer my questions.

LOL. Nice to see nothing changes. You will get your skills bag day one of Skills Lab. They will hand them out, you will be shocked at the amount of stuff in them, and then over the course of the semester you will use 1/4 of the crap in there and proceed to be pissed off.

So I registered on Identogo for my fingerprints to be done tomorrow.  I called customer service bc the code wasn’t working (I registered without it) and they said that code will not pull up a location.  I’m not sure if I should keep my appointment or cancel since the code they gave us does not work.

I am in the exact situation as you, forgot we even had a code. I tried to contact karen but no answer and hold times were pretty long for Identogo.

Yes, I forgot we had a code.  I too emailed her and am waiting for a response.  I am north of Mckinney so I enrolled at a Sherman location as there are several available starting tomorrow.  I just don’t want to go have this done and it be the wrong one.  It does say in the confirmation email from Identogo that it is for the Board of Nursing Examiners, but I’m not sure that means I signed up for the correct one.
