Collin College LVN Spring 2022

Anyone applying to Collin College LVN program?! I would like to start a thread for those applying for Collin College LVN program in Spring 2022...Where we at??!!

OMG! The exact same as me. I have the same amount of points as you I believe. Also, I did not attend information session because by the time I found his program it was too late and all of the sessions had passed! I think we are going to be fine, just stay hopeful and I'm sure we can all do this.

No, unfortunately I never received anything. Maybe it's because we all had to hand in our application as opposed to mailing it. So the confirmation it was received should be assumed? I don't know, but I wish they would let us know just so we could calm our anxious minds!

Yeah, I got a non-acceptance email for the LVN program. I don't know if it has to do with the unofficial transcripts I submitted. I couldn't get the official transcripts early enough for the deadline. They made mention of me not having A&P courses which was all round A's in my transcript. Wishing you guys good luck. Now hoping for the best with the ADN

I also received a non-acceptance email. I don't think I'll get into ADN either. I turned in my official transcript and still wasn't accepted. Oh well. best of luck!

I am so sorry to hear this, I don't think it was the unofficial transcript because I completed all my prerequisites at Collin and I also submitted an unofficial transcript but I got an email of acceptance this morning. don't give up you'll get in next time!!

I got waitlisted. It also mentioned this about the ADN selection…. 
 

We know that applicants are applying to many nursing programs simultaneously.  The RN Program at Collin College will not select their January class until the middle of November.  I expect that we may have openings for some waitlisted applicants at that time.

Congrats Parvi you will do great!

I didn't complete my prerequisite at collins. It was elsewhere. I didn't have any certifications but I have 79 on TEAS, and A's on A&P1 and 2

Don't give up on the ADN, what is your total point for ADN...mine is 18.9

Don't give up on the ADN, what is your total point for ADN...mine is 18.9

Not that well. Mine is pretty low, the only thing I have is a Bachelor degree in health science and nursing prerequisites. This isn't going to be enough for me, but I have a good feeling you will get in. I wish you the best of luck and I hope to read a comment from you soon notifying us of our acceptance.
