Collin College LVN Spring 2022

Anyone applying to Collin College LVN program?! I would like to start a thread for those applying for Collin College LVN program in Spring 2022...Where we at??!!

I got accepted in ADN as well. Now my waitlisted spot can go to the next candidate.

I couldn't get the official transcripts early enough for the deadline. They made mention of me not having A&P courses which was all round A's in my transcript. Wishing you guys good luck. Did you get a waitlisted email?

We know that applicants are applying to many nursing programs simultaneously.  The RN Program at Collin College will not select their January class until the middle of November.  I expect that we may have openings for some waitlisted applicants at that time.

Hello Julie,

 

Yes, she said I was the first one on the waitlist and that my score was 55. She mentioned there was a high chance of an opening coming available due to some getting accepted into other programs.  I received acceptance into the ADN program so I will decline my waitlist spot so it can go to the next person.

Hi everyone, 

I applied for the LVN program and got waitlisted as well. Does anybody know how long applicants who got accepted have to either accept/decline their offer before they move on to people on the waitlist?

Thank you for responding! I am number 4 on the waitlist and am hoping that I can move up on the waitlist if others also decline their spot! Best of luck to you and congratulation for getting accepted into the ADN program!

We that got accepted in ADN have until Monday 25th to accept/decline the offer. Hopefully, there will be an opening for you by next week since you're on the LVN waitlist.

Okay thank you! Feeling very hopeful! Did you get waitlisted for the LVN program, and if so do you know what your spot was on the waitlist? I am trying to figure out what my chances are of getting an email after those on the waitlist accept their offer into the ADN /other programs.

No, I didn't get waitlisted for the LVN program.

Hello all, 

I also applied to the Spring 2022 LVN cohort at Collin. I got accepted and I am super excited to stay in touch with others interested/accepted in the program. I also applied for the ADN program, but did not get accepted.

Got my acceptance email today for the LVN program after being waitlisted! Excited to start this January. Does anybody know if there is a facebook group made for those of us starting the LVN program this Spring?

Oh yay so exciting! Congratulations! I do not think there is a facebook group yet for the LVN program.
