Where's everyone at?! I am applying for the Summer 2023 program! I've taken most of my classes at the Frisco campus, but took two at Dallas College. I'm applying to two other schools, but this is my top choice, because of location, and the fact that I've been at Collin for the past several years since moving here.
Have you guys got all your vaccine records? How are we supposed to know the dates for all are vaccines? Like, if my titer is good, than shouldn't that be enough?
Hello! I’m so happy someone finally responded LOL. I took all my prerequisites in Louisiana but all have been transferred and accepted. I took my TEAS exam already as well. I’m going to submit my application next week. As from my experience with the LPN program all of that info such as immunizations etc…had to be submitted once receiving acceptance letter.
I'm not sure, I've been trying to find people who were applying this semester. I turned my application in online and submitted my documents online. Are you turning yours in on campus? I may do the same to be for sure they got everything. I think I did pretty average on my TEAS as well. I'm so nervous about my points not being enough or competitive enough. I wrote in a older thread and someone responded and said that it's very fast paced, and they're making them retake a lot of things they took as a LVN/LPN etc. however, I'm still going forward with it because I really want my RN and this school is closer to me.
I think I read the same post! I believe a lot of the other programs are having the students redo a lot of skills. So I am not sure. The fast pace makes me nervous! I have to work full time, it's easy work, but I don't have the option to stay home. I got a B, and two C's in my sciences, but I have almost all of my BSN classes done, and I am taking Chemistry and the two government classes this Spring, so I hope that helps me. I just want to get this over with! I am tired of being an LVN, and I am ready to finish school and move out of Texas!
I have all my BSN prerequisites as well because I originally started on that track but got discouraged and went for LVN. I have 1 A in micro and B's in A&P 1 and 2 I think those are the sciences required for the bridge program. The fast pace is definitely scary but I try not to even dwell on it because I want my RN so bad. I plan on working to so hopefully it's doable. However, if we both get into the program we can definitely help one another stay on course, studying and etc...

Hello,
I wanted to create this forum for all LVNs applying into the bridge program at Collin College. Hopefully we can keep one another updated and level headed during this process. Please comment below, we can provide each other with needed info, admission emails, TEAS scores and program points.
