Is it expensive?
I am feeling like ADN is much cheaper and better
or what's your thought?

The price for each credit is the same. For ADN, you will be RN after graduating while with LVN, you will be LVN after graduating. So it's totally depend on your career goal, your ability, and background. For me, I think choosing LVN then bridge to RN is just perfect for me since the LVN program prepared so well with knowledge, study habits, and skills. I did not have a lot of experience in medical field before that so going straight to ADN would have been challenging for me.

I am going to apply for Collin LVN-RN Spring 2025. I am trying to decide if I want to retake the TEAS exam. I took it last minute for another program. I did better than I thought considering I only had a few days to study. This time I would at least have a couple of weeks to study. I am going to look at my points with what I have now.

Yes, we have 2 takes for TEAS each application. Wishing us luck 🙂
I decided not to retest. I am going to go with the points I have. If I figured correctly, I have 21.88 points. My overall GPA is good I think. If it is meant to be, I will get in with what I have. I hope more people will chime in 😊

Hi! I applied today and I did the LVN program at Collin. We will see in 6-7 weeks good luck. I'm sitting at 22 points so I hope that's good¨̮ . Does anyone know what the class schedule looks like or how many days a week?
As I know so far, it will be Tuesday and Thursday . We will study together with ADN level I. Not sure if anything would change.

Hi all, just applied and sitting at 23 and Collin students have a priority so fingers crossed. Personally, I think giving us no time to prepare for TEAS especially after the NCLEX is tough! I know someone who just started this fall, and the first semester is 3 days a week. the next 2 semesters are 2 days a week.
